Greystones Home Help Service is a not for profit, community-based
organisation that provides care to elderly clients in their own home.
We also support a small number of disability and special needs
clients. We have been active in our local community for over **Apply

JOB SPECIFICATION (NON-EXHAUSTIVE)
* To provide quality care to the client(s) in their home in a
supportive and collaborative manner.
* To promote independence with a view to supporting the client to
remain at home for as long as possible.
* To assist with daily tasks, meal preparation, personal care and
offer support when necessary.
* Ensuring daily needs are met in a safe manner and written records
are documented efficiently.
* Report to manager.
ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE
* Care Assistant ? QQI Level 5 in Elderly Care (Ideally must have
at least two modules of the Level 5 = Care Skills and Caring for the
Elderly).
* Garda Vetting.
* A kind, dependable individual with a person-centred attitude.
* Good communication skills and ability to work on your own and as
part of a team.
* Flexibility and reliability. Availability for weekends and evening
work is essential.
